Jewellery Care

Stainless Steel Jewellery

  • Stainless steel jewellery are tarnish-resistant and can be left out in the open without fear of tarnishing - these jewellery pieces are the best to put out for display on ceramic plates, marble coasters or on your dresser :)
  • Always apply your make-up and perfume first, before wearing your jewellery to keep oils and chemicals from perfumes and sprays away from your jewellery.
  • Use a dry, clean, soft cloth when cleaning jewellery, never use any liquids.

Costume Jewellery

  • Take care when wearing jewellery with embellishments such as diamontes and pearlsĀ  - it's best practice to remove all your jewellery before trying on clothes, to prevent embellishments from falling out, as well as to prevent jewellery getting caught on delicate fabrics such as silk, chiffon and satin.
  • Keep away from extreme heat, moisture, humidity and water. Do not store in the bathroom or anywhere that is constantly moist or plated parts of the jewellery piece will tarnish.

Plated Jewellery

  • Plated jewellery can tarnish over time. To keep your jewellery from tarnishing and lasting longer, always store plated pieces individually in clear, resealable bags. Never mix metal colours - for example: storing silver plated rings with gold plated rings is not a good idea as the colours can transfer or tarnish.
  • Plated rings - Always remove plated rings before washing your hands, swimming, and keep away from oils, perfumes and lotions.
